In an interview with Democracy Now, Dr Mark Perlmutter - who had just returned from a mission in Gaza - recounted that he found "distinct signs of genocide".
Describing the shocking and devastating injuries he treated while working in the European Hospital in Khan Younis, Dr Perlmutter recalled the facility was "hanging on by a thread" and that the majority of patients were young children. He also recalled Israeli bombing that targeted Muslim Palestinians "concentrated at the time of evening prayer."
